I Along With 71see10 Worked On My Bed Getting The Wooden Floor Preped For Installation. I Had A Great Time And Am Very Thankful For The Expertise That 71see10 Offers And The Help He Is Always Willing To Give Me. And Now Am Looking Forward For The Complete Installation.

Re: What did you accomplish this weekend, ending 9-9-07?
I painted the rear control arms and front lower control arms with POR 15 (and chasis black) and then practiced shaving the drip rail on my extra cab. Ran out of .024 mig wire, so I tried .035 and it didn't work as well.
Then I went salmon fishing and boating Then today I worked on the yard, test drove a 2005 1/2 ton crew cab pickup (should get it tomorrow ) and now I'm cooking my salmon. |

Saturday went to the best truck show in the area, and had a blast!
Sunday mowed the already dead lawn, and did a few home improvements.

Re: What did you accomplish this weekend, ending 9-9-07?
I finally got my 72 project started. I had swapped in a motor I had built for my chevelle, and am in the final stages of assembly. I had intended to pull the vacuum brake booster for my 67, but I managed to puncture a brake line on the 67, and just gave up on that project for now.
I got the 72 grill cleaned and re-installed. I also started cleaning out the cab. by far the most excitement was firing up the engine with open headers. I'm sure my neighbors were just as thrilled.

Re: What did you accomplish this weekend, ending 9-9-07?
Didn't work on the truck at all, but I found something in my shop that I haven't seen in many months......... my floor! Got my little shed cleaned out, and moved some parts that were just taking up space in the shop out to the shed. Now I can get the chassis out and move it to the little shop and really get rocking on getting the cab and bed set up to prime.

replaced rings, valve seals, and finally got my old girl together and running!
Had to use my 69 for a parts run, otherwise it gets jealous and breaks down.
