Door-to-Doorframe wiring protection
Hi all. I'm installing Elect Windows, Door locks and Speakers into my 69's doors that never had any electric connections. I've drilled my holes, but now I want a boot or something to protect the wires I'm running through there.
Surely, you've run into this before when you electrified your doors with custom stuff. What'd you use? Where'd you get it? How well did it work? Can you post any pics of the final install? Thanks

Re: Door-to-Doorframe wiring protection
We went with the factory boot on my 77 Cheyenne. This did require the doors to be pulled so large holes could be drilled, but it was worth the time and hassle.

I have this instinctual aversion to putting any Blue Oval parts on my pet (it's one reason I haven't located any blue bucket seats yet) , but I appreciate the thought and the picture just the same. I've been eyeballing my 95 Olds' door-wire protectors for a while now wondering how I could swipe them without rewiring the whole door as a result. I don't recall seeing anything like I need in the LMC catalog (Maybe I missed it). How about you customisers out there. Any thoughts?

Look thru a copy or two of Street Rod or Rod and Custom magazine. The street rod guys sure have some nice detail stuff that can be adapted to work anywhere.
