Re: Dads dream picture

they do grow up too fast. This is my son kissing the tailgate of my old GMC...that woulda been a few days after getting it, so that woulda been nov of 2000.
He'll be 14 tomorow (11 oct) and is taller than his mom, and getting close to my height now.

I swear I'm too young to have a teenager.

Re: Dads dream picture

This is Hannah and she is 3. I started her tool collection on her 1st birthday and added to it at Christmas. I have kept it up and want her to have a nice set of tools and know how to use them when she grows up.

Re: Dads dream picture

I don't have the pic anymore, but my son took the grinder to mine when he was 3. I'd just replaced the rocker cab corner and was grinding a weld, guess where the grinder went through!! Three guesses what he's driving now, and yes the first two don't count. We were tuning it up and his son (4) grabbed a hammer and went at it. I couldn't help laughing while he was spanking the #$@! out of him! Talk about bringing back memories......

I just have to upload these. My son loved to help Daddy and Grampa work on daddy's truck. I think he tightened every bolt and rivet in the frame that night.

My father in law is from Rockford and has a bunch of cool cars. My wife talked to him the other day and he just bought a 47 Chevy truck and 53 GMC.
He also just built a huge shop. I just can't handle the winter up there!

My dad has one of me when I was about 8, he was putting the interior back in his freshly painted 67 firebird and I fell asleep in the driver seat on the garage floor. That was about '89.

Re: Dads dream picture

Cool pics guys. I have a few pics of my nephew standing on my drivers side step 7 years ago......he's 10 now, still loves the truck, even though it's a turd now, compared to how it looked then

If I could just teach us both a little patience, he'd sure be a big help when I'm working on it

Imacarguytoo, where is "just outside of bloomington"? I'm about 20 minutes north of the twin cities.
