I wish I had put that many on mine. My first legal run was on 6-24, and I've only put about 200 miles on it since. Not bad considering I work 60+ hours every week, and had a crap battery for about two months... It's all been pleasure driving thus far, just feeling out kinks and such. I still need tires and rear brakes, then I'll take it for longer runs.

I put on about 1500 miles since January. Mostly drove to the Cracker barrel for Sunday breakfast and just cruised around . Chris

Re: how much did you drive your truck this summer ? and what type of driving was it ?

i got my 69 lwb an april and have logged about 7k on it just as a driver/workin ,hauling scrap and for fun. haven't driven it much in the last month since i got my shortened k20 back togather. drove it close to 800 miles so far just going here and there. always looking for a excuse to get in it and drive it all i can before the both come in the shop for some more loven this winter. thinkind about putting one togather with leftover parts for a plow truck so i can still drive an icon all winter

Every day. It's so much fun, even when I'm going places I don't want to go, I have fun getting there.

To work on Fridays, car shows, and Lowe's runs.. Probably 1k this summer. Now that it's finally cooled off, I'll drive it more.
