Speakers-Help-where to put?

I have a 1972 Chev. truck. I want to put a really nice set of speakers in it. I have new kick panals with out speakers I got from LMC trucks. Im wondering what kind of speakers they use? They would have to be damn flat , as not to cut any holes in my metal. Most speakers 6.5" are so thick.....does anyone out there know of a really sharp looking install in a 72 chev.? there isn't hardly anywhere to put a good set of speakers with out cutting a hole somewhere in my metal !!! HELP.

Wal-Mart carries a Pioneer 6.5" speaker 1645 I think... 1 3/4" deep so they will clear. That's what I am using in my kick panels.
