what tranny tail length ?

I have a 2 wheel 78 blazer that had 6 cly. and big old standard tranny but I threw tranny away,switching to bb and turbo 400 what tail lenght should I be looking for on the 400 to match driveshaft

I think you would need an long shaft. What did you take out and how long was it?
