Rocker panels (Paging Rockln) KEV!

Hey Guys who in your opinion has the best fit repro. rockers panels?


The ones I got from Brothers trucks didn't seem to fit all that well. Had to kinda cut slits for them to fit in properly and then weld the slits back up.

Is the tri pro ones better?

What you discribe is just what is needed in most cases for a perfect fit. Keep in mind that the only reason we change out body parts is becasue it will be less work that what we have right not. Key word is less work not , no work at all! Plan on having to do some extra fitment work to get "any" replacement part to work just right. I have had some rockers that go right on with no problems that teh next set (from the same company) had to be sliced and diced a bit for what I wanted.

So if you are picky or just want a better fitment than stock (and remember stock was not very good in most cases) than almost all aftermarket parts are very close to teh same. I can not recall getting any parts that made me say "I will never buy from them again". Now with that said I normaly get my parts from ECE becasue they are close and their customer service has always been top notch over teh last 8-9yrs.

If it all fit right up and looked good immediately it means it didn't need much to start with. and with a blazer that is almost 40 years old its gonna be at least a little crooked.

If one part is dead on everything else needs to be dead on and it ain't gonna be on a blazer.

. I only have experience with my own blazer, and Id rather have it all i little big so I can make it all fit and then cut, beat, bend and massage into shape.

How many places are really stamping out this sheet metal any way? maybe 2 or 3 factories?
