removing that stubborn light switch knob
I have tried to remove that stubborn light switch knob.... No luck pressing in that springy thing and pulling.... Suggestions

Did you have it pulled to on, then depress the button? Maybe put pressure on the button, push the knob back in a little, then pull it out.

Hmmm, I turn my headlights on, reach under the dash and press the spring loaded button, and while holding the button, finish pulling the knob and shaft out of the switch. Wonder why it's not working for you. Did you try pushing it back in a little while holding the button before pulling it out?
