Heater Question
Here is my problem, I replaced my old heater motor with a brand new one. It worked fine for a couple weeks then quit for no reason.I ran a wire straight from the battery and touched it to the connection on the motor and it spun right up so I know the motor and the ground is good.I also checked the fuse and it was ok. I have it on a cheap 3 way switch for the moment but I'm thinkin the resistor is bad. Could that be it?

i would like some info on this as well. I have mine hooked up on a switch under my steering column right now too. mine is noisy and makes a loud rumbling sound. new motor or new squirrel cage in order?

Chev64, I would think that a new motor is in order.
Dangerboy, I would check your wiring between your heater control and fuse box, and from the fan switch to the fan. If you have access to a spare known good switch, try swapping it out.
