Need help with Heater

I am installing a new heater control in my 68. The original one had to broken connectors going to the metal lines. Which one goes where?

Try this, Turn the key on, then move one of the one of the center wires of the 3 that are laying there intill you find the one that turns on the heater motor, it should have 3 detents or positions low med and high, then look at the front of the control you bought, it should be labled fan or something like that, you just found the first one. Then while the fan is on move one of the other ones and place your hand over the heater or defrost vents, when you feel air at the vents (or hear the flapper inside the heater box moving) you now have the "heat/Defrost" selector cable, look at the controls again and find the one that choos's heat or defrost, thats the second one. I'll stop there..
