Colors & Finishes
Does anyone know if there is a book or any source of information I can purchase that would identify the color and finish on parts for my 1967. I am restoring my 1/2 ton stepside to as close as origanal as I can and need help with what the color was of things when it rolled of the showroom floor. Thanks.

Re: Colors & Finishes
Its just a matter of obtaining the correct factory colors as in the paint chips for 1967 and applying them in the correct places. Here is a standard model stepside.Interior color I believe was metalic fawn, which is available in quarts( Jim Carter ) which was a carry over color from 64 thru 66 interiors.

Re: Colors & Finishes
Thanks guys, what a cool picture. I was reffering to colors under the hood. Like what was gloss black and what was flat black. Factory finishes on tranny, hood hinges and springs, things like that. I gave my Inline 6 a full tune up today for the first time and was supprised when she cranked right up. I am having fun, and at my age!

Re: Colors & Finishes
For the most part the fenders and firewall and underhood are body colored.
Engine - Orange of course Rad support/inner fenders/battery tray/frame are chassis black. You can get it from eastwood I believe. Its a semi-flat color. Far as I know the trannys/rearends were not painted from the factory, just the casting shade. I believe the springs were also not painted, but I cannot remember that for sure.
