Re: Weight?
My chassis manual for my 68 says a 1/2 ton has a GVW of 4400-5000 lbs and a 3/4 ton has a GVW of 5700-7500 lbs.

Re: Weight?
My porker tipped the scales at 6200 with me in it last time. Down from 7800 with the bumpers and utility bed, so not bad I guess?
both numbers are with gas and a few tools, but no real cargo.

Re: Weight?
Here is an interesting thread, a short bed stepside, small block auto at 3600 or so. The weights of these trucks are all over the place and I think the fleetside bed weighs more than a step, but having had my truck completely apart and have personally lifted each piece (except for cab, frame and engine), I can't believe they weigh as much as they do.

Re: Weight?
its hard to get a define answer. I always see 3500-4400 lbs for a SWB

Re: Weight?
I took a load of bad radiators to the scrap yard a few weeks ago in my '69 C/10 (SWB fleet, 350 auto) and it weighed 3980 with me in it. I weigh around 290, so it's right at 3700 empty, no passengers, approx. 1/2 tank of fuel.
