Re: Google Satellite Maps

that got me thinking, here is a shot of a guys place north of town pretty much everything you see down there is 67-72 bodystyle trucks burbans panels blazers, anything you could possibly need he has, in his shop he has a buch of stuff sorted out ready to go such as buckets and consoles, trim, complete big blocks, i could go on and on, there is even an old school bus that is full of doors. most of the stuff out there is still complete and would be excellent projects

Re: Google Satellite Maps

Cool But after some thought, I don't think I'd show where my truck is parked on the web...

Here's my car sitting at 145 Maple Street in Old Township, GA.

(That's not even close to resembling my address BTW). GA is the only think familiar.

Re: Google Satellite Maps

That is freakin cool! Not sure when the photo of my house was taken, but it must have been over a year ago as I can't see the bed of my truck that put in the back yard, but I can see my dog!

Maybe if I can zoom in enough, I can shop for what I need without ever leaving my 'puter screen!!

I did mine through Mapquest (Aerial Image) and ... my house isn't even there, so their pics are older than 2004.

Re: Google Satellite Maps

Try local.live.com. Enter your address. Some locales offer a Bird's Eye View...and you can almost see blades of grass.

Here is mine on Google Maps in Utah about 2002, I sold this truck in 2004. See the big swirl in street...transmission fluid from my truck, (drive shaft gone and driveway at about 40 degrees) I had covered with kitty litter to soak it up. BTW...the kitty litter did a great job. No local.live.com bird's eye view for this home. I left there in 2005.

It was a 71 C10 LWB.

Now check out Fenway Park on local.live.com
