control arms
i recently bought 2 1/2 lowering spindles (used) and he told me they needed 73 ball joints. now my question is do i need to replace the upper and lower as a set or individually.

Just the lower's and Tie-rod ends I believe.

On the 71-72,you wont need to replace the lower a arms,just order the balljoints,& outer tierods for the spindle(this was the info that I got from bell tec). On the 70 on back, the steering stop is different on the lower a arms,& will shorten the turn radius using later spindles without changing the arms. Good luck........69longhorn.
