choke
is it easy to put a eletric choke on a carb in place on a manual one? I think the carb I got(free) had an electric one in its place.

Just run a wire to a circuit that is postive only when the ignition is on.

my truck is already electric choke equipped. I was talking about the actual choke assemblies themselves, whether they were easy to pull offf the manual one and replace it with the electric model.

Well what carb is it? And why you wanna get rid of the manual choke, that thing's a pretty much guaranteed start up during the coldest of winter!

Leave it manual. I'm going to be ripping the useless electric off very soon from mine. (IME) they're a failure point on the Q-jets.
