It is an optical illusion. You see what is happening is that the wheel base is so long that the curvature of the earth actually makes the frame in the middle of the truck appear to be closer to the earth than at the wheels.

I know they are unique.....but they are just plain ugly.

Wow, I saw that very same truck from the freeway in the background. was going to try find the guys house/work so I could see it up close... looks like thats big nevermind haha. my guess on the year was 71 or 72 as I was doing about 85 on the freeway, not bad I'd say

there sure is alot of room in the back of those from having a full length door in the back too. was that the same on that was on there about 4 months ago?

That truck used to be owned by board member CREWS, and I believe the correct term for its appearance is "FUGLY"!
