I found a cache of Kent Moore tools in a shop I'm cleaning out. Can you help me identify them?

Re: Kent Moore tools What is what?
As a HasBeen Gm tech I would dig further for info. Many of the round discs appear to be seal installer's for what I don't know. I have seen something the same as or like the top center piece. It has been put together backwards in pic. It may all just be throw aways from old recall tools? They are probably pretty specific. I personally would search for a spell and then keep them around as long as I could and or make them into "Special Tools" for my next project as needed. I do know that old "other make vehicles" go for good money. 2cent Dave

I'd keep them, even if I didn't know what each was specifically supposed to do. Heck, make a display board and get some self-adhesive letters/numbers and make it look professional, or like something a dealership may have had in their shop for the mechanics.

I was thinking that top center one with the wingnut would be good for compressing auto trans clutch pack springs.
Looks like a bunch of seal or bushing adapters also.

I agree, the others look like bearing/seal drivers. take a piece of 3/4 plywood and drill some angles holes in it for old push rods. then hang the stuff on that on the wall. |

Re: Kent Moore tools What is what?
Thanks for the encouragement guys. I did find a pic of the trans spring compressor in one of my books. I will pack em all back in the box and shelf them for now.
The shop I'm cleaning used to me a school auto shop 12 years ago, so most of the tools are/were quite usable. I just don't know when I'll use them.
