I have a front and rear chrome bumper pair on my 70 and I want to swap over to paintable bumpers. The chrome on mine isn't perfect by any stretch, but I am not looking for perfect either.

I am trying to see if there's any interest before I take pics and such. Prefer someone local to DFW area so I don't have to ship, but will consider all offers.

Do u Mean Some Like This, I've been Thinking about Changing the look's on this Truck & Going with More Bling...........

Have already Bought New Rims toward that end, Maybe we can Work out some kinda Deal to Split Shipping Cost???

hey i know people say it dont work but i have had no problems..

320g the chrome and spray bulldog promotor on it and paint it.. worked on my grille on my tahoe for 4years before it peeled.. or just sand blast , body work it and paint

I agree just sandblast them. I had some old chrome wheels that were peeling, I had them blasted and then I painted them black. Holdin up good too.

I have a 67 and I plan on using the same hubcaps as yours. I had my back bumper sand blasted too. I like the white bumper look.

Sorry about that but I had to consolidate the three forums and the new scheme.

I am still up for it, but I have noticed a couple of things about mine you need to know. There are two places on the rear bumper where the chrome is missing and there's a tiny bit of rust there now. One is a slight crease and I'm not sure the photos showed it. On the front there's a spot as well, but not as bad as the rear. Let me get some better pics up close and see what you think.

Took the Truck down to My Buddy's Shop that is Restoring my Nomad, Going to Put in Pwr Steering , Auto Tranny & a Drop along with new Tires & Rims.

Will Take the Bumpers off next Week if you still want to do it...........
