shaved tailgates

hey guys, im thinking about shaving my tailgate. please post info and pictures of your tailgates. i got a tailgate thats got the "chevrolet" on it with huge gap under tailgate handle. is there a handle kit to relocate handle on inside on tailgate or some nice latches that mount on the inside of innner bed to hold tailgate up, maybe use some nice cables instead of metal oem supports? any info and pics would be appreciated

I just bought a kit from ECE out of Fresno and it is very complete. Moves the handle to the inside with a new handle, mounting plate, new rods, hardware and templete for cutting and drilling! I think the kit was about $85 or so. Well worth the money and with other kits you have to put a full skin on the gate but with this one all you do is bend up a filler strip for the old handle.
If you can wait a few weeks I am in the middle of getting my cab and front end ready for paint in a week or two. Then I will be working on the bed, gate and side marker adjustment
