Post 72 door panels on 71 doors???

I picked up some 72 door panels at a swap meet and was wondering if they work on my 71. I heard somewhere that the window reg. are different. Does anybody have any pics of 72 door panels they have dressed up? I don't like the wood grain.

Depending on manufacturer you may or may not have to change your door and window regulator. I have seen some that didn't need the new regulators. But most do. The shaft that the handles fit on are longer to clear the extra depth of the thicker door panel.
