aftermarket short fleet bed

I would like to if anybody has used an after market short fleet bed and if they would recomend it to anybody else and the price of the new bed.

I have all new bed parts other than the tailgate. The aftermarket tailgate was a pile of c@#*. The other bed parts aren't to bad.

The bed looks very nice now after paint. Very pricy! $2500+

One of the truck rags (Classic Trucks or Custom Classic Trucks) did a feature in the past two months of a build-up of an LMC bed, from the git-go. Check out their article and see whatcha think.

This truck has after market bedsides and it sold for $50,000 + , so the are very useable but I would still try to find original ones if at all posible. The bedsides + freight will run around $1200 or so.
