A message for us Canadian boys & girls

You might know this fact already, but incase not here it is. Motormaster Spark plugs are NGK with Canadian Tire brand name on package, and Motormaster air filters are Fram, with Can Tire name on em. Wasn't aware of that until today.

Changed both today

Was tough to get at passenger side bank of plugs, as all the stinkin CNG stuff was in the way! Grrr...

Here's another tip: don't start a project as it's getting dark!! I tried to push the truck up the driveway, and into the garage by myself, but the truck was too much for my superhuman strength, hahaha!

canadians

Nice to see all the canadians. I am living in idaho, but am an albertan. NOT from Edmonton! Not that there is anything wrong with Edmonton. Just got tired of Gretzky beating my flames in the playoffs.

You know what I hate, when you are working outside under the hood up here in Canadaland in the middle of the winter and your hands are so frozen that if you just merely brush them against anything remotely sharp they break open and bleed all over.

Hey joe, the truck is coming great, just got back from working on it down at my dads in summerland, the stage we are at now is the frame is all cleaned up and painted, lowered 3/4 disc brakes, 5 lug, power steering etc...cab is on it and the bottom of it is all cleaned up and painted along with the firewall, the 327 and th400 is also bolted in, this weekend i cleaned the inner fenders all up and gave them a coat of black paint. man there was a lot of grime caked on...tyook about 3.5 hours to get them to bare metal also started on teh box (took it all apart), we got osme airplane stripper stuff from lordco, you spray it on wherever you want to remove paint, i got the front end of the box all down to bare metal...like the piece opposite to the tailgate, this week my dad is goign to but a new timing chain in the 327 and put the wiring back in. hopefully have it running in a couple weeks, (noty like driveable though) the blazer tank is a nightmare though..we are usuing a newer frame so we have to make some sorta straps and crossmemebers for it, yesteday we dropped the front and rear fenders off at a guys place in keremos, he is g oing to have them all done in 3 weeks, cant wait to see how they turn out...ill have some pics tonite when benson gets home..he is also a member on here...mandinsixseven..i always mooch his dig camera, ill post some pics tonite if i get them from him...thanks for the interest, we gottaget some group pics here inthe spring or summer....

gmc383, the Oilers aren't doing much of beating anyone these days... then again, neither are the Flames, so I don't feel too bad... lol...

I think i can add some more for you guys. From my experience at working at wal-mart (what was i thinking!) that all of the TECH 2000 oils and fluids are rebottled ESSO products, so if you like ESSO just buy the tech stuff. Also the antifreeze and washerfluid are all the same between Canadian Tire and Wal-mart, but wal-mart always had lower prices. Just a thought for all of you canucks who like to save money!

memories

I remember building my 70 gmc in the calgary winter in a unheated garage. Hands so cold, I couldn't hold a wrench. But, I still wouldn't quit. Now it is raining here in Idaho and I don't want to go dick with my taillight problem. The usa must be making me soft.
