New project
I've got to apologize for all the drama I created a while back, I was really frustrated on what I should be doing for a vehicle, college, jobs, etc...
I just wanted to say that I've figured a lot of stuff out, and I'm doing much better now. This is the new project I've started: 1987 BMW 325e Sedan This was just after bringing it home: And this is what some time and passion can do: (this within a few hours)

Re: New project
I know this isn't related at all to this forum, but I figured I'd show what I've moved on to from my old C10.

Re: New project
Good choice for a economic, reliable car. I must have missed all the drama, but here's a few thoughts I have:
You may not be looking for advice, but this will save your wallet if you don't already know: Change the timing belt and tensioner if you don't know the maintainance history of this car. $30 in parts will go a long way in saving you from replacing the head. (every 50K miles) Buy the Bentley manual and adjust the valves. Also consider replacing the coolant overflow - they're prone to cracking and in this case - even more so being so close to the exhaust manifold. Once again a cheap part that if overlooked can destroy an engine. Throw some snows on the 14" wheels for the winter if your going to drive it year round. Truck related: save all the money from driving your car to buy another truck/fix your truck. Time to change your signature!
