Automatic Transmission ?

I have a 350 turbo , long shaft , what do I need to do to convert it to a short shaft ? I have a short shaft for parts, thanks

you will have to disasemble both trans. and trade the output shafts around. Probaly just as well rebuild the short shaft trans and save the long shaft one.

The long shaft was out of my parts truck & jest rebuilt befor I got it. that's the reason for wanting to change it.

This will not be much help but it would be easier to just get a new driveline to fit the truck.

I wanted to use the short shaft so I could easly switch it out to a 700r4 , Is it a major job ?
