I am pretty sure that has been on flea-bay several times, always asking a bunch for it.

I think some did come that way with the black roof.

If it stays at that price I might have to make the 20 mile drive and go buy it!!!Atleast I'll have to check it out and see about the mileage..My K20 would look good with that truck body dropped on it.

nice truck anyway though -- the blck top was available, although certainly not common --- but this truck is supposed to be a survivor

The black top is probably correct. I only see one small thing that makes me wonder about the truck, and it is an itty bitty red flag.
As for secondary colors, you could get any colors you wanted... but most ppl agreed with what GM offered as prefered color combos. I once saw an original truck that was red with p!ss yellow on the cab roof and in the center of the body... looked worse than it sounds, and, it was listed on the SPID.

Yeah color combos were not real refined back then.I once saw a 68 short step that had a Hugger orange factory paint and a Oxblood(dark maroon) interior.I thought it was just a repaint but the guy showed me the spid with it listed.Base truck with scroll seatcovers too.

how can he get by with having it on so many times if its a no reserve auction as it says? I've seen this truck on e-gay at least twice. Once i thought it was around 10k and i guess didnt sell (i would buy this truck for 15k if i had it to spend if its for real)

oh well --- the second i try to pull an ad because i think its too low, i would get dinged by ebay

a\ll he'd have to do is pull the add saying it was sold locally, then wait a week, and repost it. If anyone asks WTF, he just says the local sale fell through.
