We recently purchased a 2007 4wd automatic with the 4.8 v-8. The truck has good power, but the cruise seems to be over aggressive with downshifts, it likes to downshift to 2nd gear on hills, if we take the same hill at the same speed with the cruise off it will hold speed with no problem and stay in overdrive or sometimes downshift to drive. is there a programmer available to stop this?
