Drop body, NOT suspension?

Is there a cost-effective way to drop the body front and rear without causing the exhaust system to drop with it?
Thanks

Re: Drop body, NOT suspension?

If you are having to ask, it doesn't sound like you have the ability to do all the work yourself. If you have to have someone do the work, then cost efficiency on a body drop wouldn't be my priority.

Did you build a stainless exhaust and now want it lower? Sounds like your going to spend a dime to save a nickle.

Re: Drop body, NOT suspension?

Already made the adjustments I needed, just curious about an option I may have missed. Sounds like it wasn't a very good option.
Thanks

Actually, a body drop isn't going to affect your exhaust height since it's not part of your body.

Re: Drop body, NOT suspension?

You will need to drop the tail pipes, to go under the rear bumper.......or, run the pipes right through the bumper I have 1 1/2" body drop on my old longhorn(probably would have done 3", but already have 4" off the top). To keep it all up tight, I popped a couple hole s in the rear bumper with a hole saw, & ran the pipes right through. It looks clean, & keeps the pcs off the pavement crazyL
