dual shocks....
My Blazer has dual shocks up front. I'm guessing that this was an add on by someone for a snow blade .......or has anyone ever heard of this being a factory option for a 1972 Blazer?

Re: dual shocks....
Never heard of that on a 72, I know some mid to late 80's models came with duals...

Re: dual shocks....
I also haven't seen that before on any 67-72 truck or K5. If you need to replace them, be sure to get shocks that are designed to be used in pairs.

Re: dual shocks....
I have the same thing on a 72 Blazer that I parted out. I believe they are just aftermarket brackets, I had the identical ones on a 78 Chevy truck I had also. If you remove the paint from them they should be a goldish zinc color.

Re: dual shocks....
My '71 has dual shocks up front, but it looks completely different from yours (i'm pretty sure mine isn't stock either).

Yes yours is aftermarket. I installed a setup from Trailmaster on a friend's 84 Blazer that looked exactly like your setup... Chuck
