what do you prefer for a waterpump?

i have a good old GM waterpump, but i was wondering what everyone prefers? its on my 383 thanks

Never had a single problem with stock pumps myself. Some may well be better, but mine ain't broke, so I'm not going to mess with it.

if you bought a rebuild kit or somthing, that would be fine wouldnt it? i just dont have the money to be forking over 150.00 for a aluminum one but it sure would be nice..! haha

holy crap, in jegs i didnt find anything close to that cheap for a aluminum pump. i was looking at that moroso, or maybe a edelbrock, but i dont need to buy just names thanks

Yeah. They do mostly rod and custom and circle track stuff but some of their pricing on engine parts is a good bit below what you'd normally expect to pay.

There was a post on ColoradoK5 some time back about new, high flow polished aluminum pumps for around $72.
