Show me some color - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking at painting my truck some sort of metallic green or amber fire(some dodge dakotas were painted this color). I just want to see soem pics of some trucks any shade of green or a close comparison to the amber fire. Chevy has its own mix for this color and I want to see it on a truck.

Here is a bright metallic green for ya, and I mean bright... It's hard to look at in direct sunlight. There are a bunch more pics in my build thread. hey,go to the photoshop section.and go to "reverse please "thread....there's a bunch of green in there.that desertrat has "shopped" on my truck.

Hey c10 driver, that is a good looking truck. I guess green is a pretty popular color, nobody has the burnt orange. I am also not to much for lifting cars to fit rims. There are some pretty nice trucks pictures. Thanx guys

Thanks. If you haven't already, you should check out Dontletitfoolya's orange truck in the December TOTM.

As far as greens go, I really like the 66'ish shortbox in post 5 and the darker green on the early 80's truck in post 7. They are very different shades, but both really nice.
