Best source for seat covers
OK guys, where is the best place to get a seat cover for my '69 bench seat? I want an original style. I am told that places like LMC get their stuff from other places. Someone told me about "Legendary Interiors" but all I saw there was car stuff (no trucks). I have a blue vinyl cover with cloth inserts but it is not houndstooth. Anybody know what that could be? Original or not?

Re: Best source for seat covers
Please read this thread... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=275405
Personally Ive used PICKMUP for my covers...because he really knows his stuff about seats, covers and foams. Plus he is sorta local to me...around 85 miles away or so. I have seen other board vendors covers posted and have been impressed. |

Might not be what you're looking for but check out http://www.ricksupholstery.com
That's where I got mine made and the prices are pretty good.

Re: Best source for seat covers
I have used two vendors...PICKMUP for repop stuff and Rick's Custom Upholstery (TN) for anything not available from reproduction. Both vendors are exceptional.

Re: Best source for seat covers
OK...let me try this with a picture. PICKMUP told me that nobody makes this cover but I wanted to make sure we were talking about the same cover. I described it to him but I thought a picture may "be worth a thousand words". It's just that this cover is different than others that I have seen so I kinda like it. Gotta be different ya know? Notice the different color vinyl and the inserts that are not houndstooth. Anybody seen this sucker?
PS...forgot to tell ya that the rest of the interior is kinda two tone too. Dash was dark blue (just replaced with bright blue), door panels and arm rests are dark blue, visors are bright blue.

Re: Best source for seat covers
try a local upholstery shop, most can do work that looks pretty close to factory stuff// the yellow pages should have listings
