ART strong arms vs CCP tubular

Hey all, I was settled on going CCP tubular arms and their 4 link with a 4/6 drop springs/spindles and sway bars. Grand total was about $3150.

Then I priced out ART's strong arms and muscle bar... Front and rear with muscle bars. No compressor or anything. Just the coolrides and strong arms.

Total around $3300.

Use for the truck will be mostly just cruising and some back roads. I have a classic mini and a spec miata for going really hard through corners, but that s how I drive...faster than slow and don't like to much slow for the turns.


So for similar price which is the better/stronger/ better engineered/better geometry set up?

I can get the compressor system later down the road for the ART's BTW.

Oh and its for a 64 fleetside...almost forgot.

So DJM also offers a front arm set up as well. Nothing to replace the rears.

Does anyone know what the spring rates are for lets say a 2 inch lowering spring from all these different companies (Cpp, DJM, ECE, etc...)

Anyone have any opinions on the quality, strength geometry benefits between these companies?

Never buy anything from CPP. CPP has the worst customer service...EVER!

ART has great quality and customer sevice

Also, you can order your ART stuff through Porterbuilt or KP(both will hook you up)

I've had good experience(s) w/CPP. Every company will have issues.

I'm with Scoti on this one ... I have had excellent experiences with CCP ... as well as with ECE.

Both are good companies in my book.

Really? That's strange, I just ordered $600 worth of parts from them. The box arrived damaged, totally UPS's fault, I refused one of the two damaged packages. When they confirmed the refusal of the package via tracking number 15 minutes later, they promptly refunded all of the money for those items ordered, then proceeded to ring up a completely new order without so much as a whimper. They even refunded my shipping. All of the products I've gotten from CPP have been excellent quality - especially their tubular xmember. My ECE crossmember that so many people use came with cracked powdercoating, but otherwise all items I've bought from them have been good.

I've had nothing but superb customer service from them. I've also had great customer service with ECE, but feel their prices are inflated - not as bad as S&P (www.hotrodlane.cc) - but many items are way too rich for my blood (steel gas tanks for $800, anyone?).

I have the same issues with priceyness on most suspension components from most companies, though, including ART's stuff (no disrespect intended).
