New guy intro. pics of my junk

Im new to here, I have always had a soft spot for the 68 trucks, this is my newest and only at this time, Clean old original 6cyl and 3 spd, I still need to do a little cleaning on it but very nice old truck. I will let everyone know from the start I have a huge addiction problem with old cars and trucks. I have a small shop that I build my junk in for fun, I dont do it for a living just my toy box. Thank God for a understanding wife! I threw in some pics of my 2 current unrelated projects, let me know If I should size them down in the future.

Welcome to the board from South Florida. Any time you want to get rid of any "junk", just say the word. Nice Toys!! Resize to a smaller pic would be great.

Re: New guy intro. pics of my junk

Wow, two of my all time favorite things with wheels on them, a bone stock 68 truck and a first generation Monte Carlo! (If that's what I'm seeing in the last picture.)

Welcome!

Welcome from the corn state.... One nice truck.

A fellow down the road from me has a nice truck exactly like that, same color, long wheelbase, and a six with a four speed (instead of the three speed). It has 47,000 miles on it. Just as a comparison he is asking $4500 for it.

Sizing the pictures down would be good for the folks with dial-up internet access. They probably take a long time to download on dial-up.

Dont want to scare anyone this early.. The truck is very clean it shows 18,500 so im not sure what it really has its ultra clean but I think it has to have alot more miles than that. The paint is original and looks real good for its age It has a horse blanket on the seat but the seat is perfect under it, the dash pad is perfect the mat is perfect and the clutch/brake pedal pad have no real wear. If the weather is nice this weekend I will get it back out and post some more pics.

Re: New guy intro. pics of my junk

That is one sweet truck, and like I said..you hiding a time machine somewheres? LOL

On a seperate note, when I was stationed in Virginia I lived near a local who had a 71 with a rear bumper just like yours with the "long legs" that run forward up the body work. To this day I have no clue why they are there. My 70 K20 has that same bumper minus the "Legs" <not sure what else to call them>. Anyone have any ideas?
