Fuse block pic/answer request

Posted here for a quicker - lookee see.... and I've been patiently waiting for my 30 seconds between searches.. no luck yet.... here's the scoop/issue:

First pic - the rear of the fuse block (all cleaned up and reassembling) - note the small brown wire with white stripe, not hooked to anything (passing over the orange wires) - Also note the connector in the block near the yellow wire - circled by the grey - to the right side- it has a tab to put a wire onto. I had taken pics of everything for reassembly but they got corrupted AND THEN decided to delete themselves!
The terminal in the block with the unused tab is labeled for the "fuel gauge" and "tail stop". The little brown/white wire goes to the bulkhead connector and out into the engine compartment. The wire goes out via the top left hole on the connector. I cannot find where it goes in the engine compartment, it's all wrapped.. figures.... Anywho, The second pic is the fuse block from the front - You can see the "opens" - disregard the one for the "ac" - I have that one.
Need to know:
1) where this brown/white should be connected in the back of the fuse block
2) Do I need to move any of the tabs in the fuse block? I'm fairly certain 90% are correct
3) I DO have the circuit diagrams from the FAQ section here but they don't show what I need.
Thanks all -tried not to get too wordy but stay clear.... we'll see!
BETTER YET - anyone have a pic of the back of a 1972 idiot gauge fuse block? That'd solve it quickly for me! Thanks again.

Re: Fuse block pic/answer request

I wish I had fuse panel pics to show you to help out, but someone correct me if I am wrong but my diagram shows that brown/white wire goes to your TSC System if you have it and its circled in red...everything else looks good from what I can tell from your picks.

Re: Fuse block pic/answer request

I can't get this flippin computer to let me make any circles or arrows and then save 'em.... ugh!

The truck has a 3 on the tree - the wire under the hood does go down the side of the tranny and then under the cab.
From the circle you drew, go two rows to the right and up one terminal - there, is a 2 point (one fuse end and one spade end) terminal. On the back side (shown) there is nothing hooked to it - That is labeled as the end of "Glove Box" and empty spade under the "Fuel Gauge" spade. Would this TSC wire connect there? I have nothing to fit in the hole you circled - I'm outta ends and almost at my wits

Re: Fuse block pic/answer request

lol...Okay I can draw the circles no problem but not where I wanted, I show the brn/wht piggy backed off the terminal one to the left of the circle??? terminal 141 fused???

You are correct, I show now connections on the "glove Box" slot.

I can try scanning this diagram if it would help?

Re: Fuse block pic/answer request

I have the diagram off the board, printed out - it's not helping though. The diagram shows no brown/white trace on the engine side so I can't tell where it's going. Look above the brown that's piggy backed, there is another one in the picture that has a sideways female connector on it - that's the one that goes to the bulk head connector. I'm starting to think things might be different because the diagrams for an 8 cyl. and I have the six. I have another whole harness from a 67 or 68 and that's no help either. I appreciate the attention.

Re: Fuse block pic/answer request

The one that goes to the bulk head connector upper left is the terminal 141 TSC, that other 12 guage wire I show going to the ignition switch, and there should be 14 gauge wire for the AC you dont have hooked up. I show no other brown or brown/white. I tried sending this diagram out of my 72 manual but its too big a PDF to upload.....

Re: Fuse block pic/answer request

I made a mistake - on the engine side, the brown/white comes out the BOTTOM LEFT corner and goes towards the transmission. I don't think it's doing anything so I may just leave it unhooked and see what happens. I have now totally confused myself (possibly others) and need to take a step back. I'm going to go finish up the harness and see what else I can find, lose, step in....... Thanks for the help and I'll let you know later if it's running or I'm visiting with the firemen.....

Re: Fuse block pic/answer request

Well, yesterday ended up a total frustration - It appears there are at least 6 wires feeding the bulkhead connector that go to NOTHING on the other side! Took pictures, have all my schematics out and I'm starting over again today! What a time to be trying to quit smoking.... ugh.
