Getting new rear bumper

Well it looks like I will be buying a new rear bumper for the blazer. After going thru pick a parts and searching around with no luck, I am frustrated. Can anybody give me advise about where to get a new rear bumper, best quality/price/fitment etc? Thanks for any help............jesse

Re: Getting new rear bumper

LMC's "Premium" bumpers are very close to factory metal thickness and chrome quality.

I had bought one of their regular quality bumpers years ago, it was junk. It was about as thick as a tin can and if you turned your back to it for a second it would start to rust.

The new "Premium" bumper is very close if not the same in thickness in weight to an original and so far the chrome has stayed nice on it without constant polishing, outside and never garaged.

Re: Getting new rear bumper

I bought the same as Pyro, and am very happy with the quality, mine is a step bumper and not the Blazer style.

Re: Getting new rear bumper

I found a bumper from a newer truck for mine at the local pick 'n pull. Cost me $25 and there were no scratches, rust or anything! I guess I got lucky. All I had to do was clean it off, and haul it away. Only thing I had to buy were some washers to hold the extra 4 bolts in place. Not the right year, but it still looks good.
