anyone shaved fresh air vents

Has anyone shaved the inside air vents and the bottom of the air box on the cab? I was thinking about shaving mine since I never use them.

Re: anyone shaved fresh air vents

My cowl vents are disappearing and my concern is to how to best bring air to the kick panel vents and the HVAC.

Anybody have any input?

You could pull the front fenders and cut a hole into the side of the vent box and make a wire grill to go over it to keep critters out...

I have thought of doing this myself...

I've thought of this too. Seems the kick vents could be sealed off at the top and still keep the cowl for the blower motor. I would loose the air recurculation for the AC, but i don't have the vacume system hooked up on the AC anyway.
