Mine is about a 5/6 or so....flipped with no notch.....it's close to the bumpstops, which are aftermarket.

Yeah...the store bought kits are "generally" 5", it depends on the leaf spring packs....
But flipping a rear is so easy making your own "kit", that you can go lower if needed, just weld on new perches and use blocks (I always thought those U shaped "blocks" in flip kits were cheesy)....but anything over 5" needs a notch...honestly, mine could use a notch...it'd have a bit more clearance, esp. with a load...

This was my stepdad's truck....when he was killed, my mom gave me the truck.....so I'm not certain the exact drop specs.... I do know it is a combo of springs and spindles. Probably 3" springs and 2" spindles, as there are no modifications or grinding of the A-arms or calipers, which is normally needed when 3" spindles are used with factory Rallys.....

I had an '80 with 3" drop spindles, and this truck is much lower.

Mine was a 5/5 before I decided to go air.

Tires at the time of the picture were 255/50/15 I think..

Re: pics of 5/5 drop please

Flip kit, 2" springs and 2.5" spindles here for a 4.5/5 drop. Ive got plenty of room between my axle and the bumpstops. Tires are 275/60/15 all around.

Twisted...that is a FINE looking truck you have there!

Re: pics of 5/5 drop please

Thanks,

Almost complete, working to finish some exhaust before the inital run-in. I want to put some miles on the motor before I run the Procharger. Been a bit side tracked getting my Blazer projects underway. All in good time.. With the weather getting better, I had better get on it!
