Question 80"s door panels on 73,74 doors???

Just bought a set of NOS doors and they are for 73,74 and 75 year truck.Looks to me that to install 80's style door panels you just have to re-locate the bottom mounting holes,Anyone ever done this??????????Thanks

Nice doors you bought . I was watching the driver door . Was shipping very high . I think they will work with the later door panels . Just mark and drill the lower holes . Those are some rare doors you bought in my opinion . Frank

You have to change out the window cranks to get them to work. 73-76 stalks are shorter than 77-91 stalks and you need the 77-91 versions. Factory power WON'T go in 73-76 doors...

Chris is exactly right about the window crank shafts, I found this out the hard way on my '73.

Me too. However, since I'm a hack, I put the cranks on anyhow. It will work, but the trim panel will bow in at the crank.
