Heads on a tight budget??

I am a collage student and dont have a lot of cash floating around but I want to put some better heads on my 350 to make more power. I am trying to build my truck to spank all the mustangs and imports the kids in school here have. Any ideas as to what heads to get and what other mods i can do that will give me more power and make me faster. The specs on my truck are in my signature. Thanks

basically any closed chamber head will improve your performance..they have 64cc chambers, compared to 76cc on your heads..this will raise the compression from 8.2-1 to 9.2-1...major help in power and gas mileage...just about anyway you go, it will be around 750.00...Vortecs or aftermarket..if you can find a set of fuellies(camel humps) cheap..100.00-150.00 that would be a cheap way to go..im sure someone will say you can get vortecs for 400.00...yes you can, but when you add in all of the needed parts to go along with them...it equals around 750.00
with good heads and a good cam..and your 4.10s..it should move real good
