Power Door Locks

I love my little S-10, it is a great little truck and rides better then the grand prix it replaced. But I do miss power locks. Anybody here added power windows to their S-10 or any other car for that matter? Any tips on which kit to buy or any problems you have run into?

If not I guess I will be buying a kit and writing up a little how to when I do this. I figure there has got to be someone on here that has done this or has thought about doing this.

Re: Power Door Locks

I am assuming you are working on a 97 with a 2.2 and a 5 speed. there should be some in the salvage yard you could rob parts from. get the switches also.

Re: Power Door Locks

Yeah sorry about that it is a 1997 2.2 5 speed.

I was thinking more of going with one of the aftermarket kits so that I don't have to change out the door panels. Also there aren't any really good pull apart junk yards around here so I can probably get out cheaper with the aftermarket kits. Anyone had any experience with the aftermarket kits on the market?
