Post wheelcover

I just finished redoing my bed and going to put my wheelcovers back on.
What kind of sealant goes between the wheelcover and the bed?

I'd primer it and use a silicone.

You might want to get some seam sealer from a body shop. I believe that silicone would corrode the steel if it got past the primer.
