What size bolts do you use in a 400 turbo dust cover?

Well, I've seen all kinds of crap screwed into those, but as far as I know, the factory used thread-cutting machine screws. This may vary for different years, of course. I'd have to go pull one to figure the size, but I think 1/4"-20 is too big. Maybe 3/16", or #12? It may be an oddball size.
