Header question
Hi,
I am puttting a new 350 in the truck. I found out that I have a cracked exhaust manifold. I have a set of 1967 camaro headers in the garage... both are setup for an auto... can I bolt these on to the truck? David Last edited by djw32; 03-14-2008 at 08:52 PM. |

Re: Header question
I tried it and they didn't drop low enough and were dead center on in height with the trans crossmember...

Re: Header question
Did they hit the trans crossmember? I can make an exhaust pipe go around it...i think.

Re: Header question
I think they would also be in the way of the auto linkage. My son's truck has camaro headers and we replaced the linkage with a lokar cable. Made a custom crossmember to clear the exhaust but I'm sure it's far enough back that you might get some bends. 6-8" or so.
