I finally got to meet the owner of Ironworks Street rods. He is building one of the sickest trucks I have ever seen. I posted some pics in the 49-57 section because the truck is a 56 but I know that alot of fellow board members don't get over to that section so i thought i would post a link. I think it is definately worth looking at. That is just my opinion though.

Maybe I am getting too old....but why is "sick" a good thing now?

If I want new......I will buy new. If I want old stuff.....I buy something old. Never a fan of someone putting new crap in old cars and trucks. But to each his own.

The 1st time I heard it was with that program about them murdersickle guys from NY.
The kid would always say that.

Quit watching it after a while.
I could certainly appreciate their talent, but the bikes they put out were fugly.

I'm not really sure why it's a good thing now. I'm in my mid 20's and people started using it when I was in high school, at least that's when I started hearing it. It never really caught on with me though.

That is a bad truck...in my day Bad was like no good...but today...Bad is good!!! Looks like a high $$$ but that is a very nice looking project.

Living in Texas w/o a/c just plain sucks & driving to a show in Houston from the Dallas area @ 3K rpm/60mph makes that 4hr drive feel twice as long not to mention twice as expensive (10 vs. 20mpg's). With just those 2 items, by the time you arrive @ your destination your wore-out. Make the same trip in a newer vehicle that has climate-control & OD & it's nothing.

I love the simplicity of older stuff. But, the efficiency of newer technology can make older stuff (trucks) much more enjoyable.

That truck is extremely nice & they build some beautiful stuff for sure.
