Rear end ID help

can anyone tell me what this rear end is? Heres some info its in a 79 short bed C10 the only numbers I found are 3723199 and 23258 any help will be great I need to know what it is so I can change the gear ratio it has after market 4.11s and I want to go to 3.08s

how many bolts are on the differential cover?

JDS: Get numbers off the top of the right hand axel tube.That will give you all the info you need, except that the ratio has been changed.If your going to go from 4 series gears to 3 series gears your going to need a new case UNLESS there is a spacer between the ring gear and case now. Just leave out the spacer to change to 3 series. Jim

Well it turned out to be a dodge 12 bolt so the score is 0 forum, 1 morons LOL man am I mad ordered gears and the install kit just to have my garage tell me its a dodge rear end.
