3 hole gauge cluster help
looking for some measurements guys, I'm throwing this idea around in my head. for my '72 gauges I'm thinking about using the 3 hole gauge cluster and using 4 air gauges (2"diameter, 3 3/4" deep) for my bags, tank and shocks along the bottom. I would cut the 4 to size. Unless there is some air gauges that fit the bottom 4 holes in the '72 (I haven't found yet)
could someone measure theirs to see if this is possible, or does someone know of any reason why this can't be done? thx, Al

Re: 3 hole gauge cluster help
The dash hole is the same no matter if you have 3 gauge or 7.
And stock ones along the bottom of a 7-gauge cluster are 2-5/8" (I believe). Don't worry, someone will correct me if I am wrong. I KNOW they are larger than 2". And depth is not an issue. As long as they don't hit the firewall, you are good. If you try mounting your air gauges from behind, you may be able to use a stock 7-hole bezel. Just a thought.

Re: 3 hole gauge cluster help
These are 2" sunpro gauges. The hole was 2".
Careful where you drill the holes and be careful when tightening the gauges down, it's EASY to crack these things.

Re: 3 hole gauge cluster help
C/40 and bigger trucks had an air guage if the truck had air brakes. This is one I cleaned up and sold on here 5 or 6 years ago... bummer I can't find the after photos... it looked killer.
