Wiper Motor Issue - Wiper Motor Mounting plate

My wipers quit working....at least they quit moving. The arms fell off of the motor, or so I thought. Found out the motor fell off of the arms, like the metal surrounding the motor rusted away! A P.O. used some silastic (non-automotive) which I learned in my 27 years of working will cause rust to form.

So, anybody make a "patch panel" to enable an easier re-mounting? I've seen a lot of panels, used some of them, but this is a new one on me.

..... i just threw out a patch panel for that very same spot your gonna have to find someone good with welding skills, or find someone to cut you a piece out of a donor cab.
