Question about wood beds floor bedsides
Can I use a steel floor in a wooden bed floor bed? I have a '70 with a steel floor bed and can get a great condition 67 wood floor bed for cheap. I would like to keep the steel floor, but I do not know if it will work in the '67 bed. Thanks

Re: Question about wood beds floor bedsides
You'll need to use all the cross supports, including the very rear one that is welded to the bedsides. Beyond that- I think the rest of the panels are the same. Don't quote me on that 'cause I've only worked with wood beds.

Re: Question about wood beds floor bedsides
bedsides are the same.Like mentioned, you'll need all cross sills and new front panel. You could modify the front panel to work too I suppose. The lip needs to be dropped down about 3/4" so the wood sits on top of it.
