ok, so i'm not really out at sea. we just pulled in to singapore earlier this morning(we're a day ahead out here). but anyway, just lettin all you guys know that i am ok. been sweating like a fat kid at fat camp up on the flight deck of the uss abraham lincoln. so far i have managed to fracture my 8th and 9th rib about six days ago durning a day when we weren't flying. i was actually bein pretty retarded. i ended up walking straight off the flight deck and fell about 6-8 feet into the cat walk, hitting a hand rail in the ladder well that is right out side my shop. but otherwise i am doin good. so if anyone wants to chat while i'm out, my email is john.bird@cvw2.navy.mil

I like how clean that city is. You also can get a “quality” fake watch there; you may need to ask around to find them. There was a tailor shop in the mall that had several hidden display cases that had hundreds of watches.
BTW - Watch out for the transvestites in Singapore…..Singapore is know for them

I can't thank you enough for allowing me to tinker with my old truck. Its because of you and everyone on that deck that i'm able to. Thank you.

I hear they have beer in vending machines in singapore. Hows that working out???

Your not the only one to take that fall. But I did it from the wind tunnel to the mess decks on my ship (FFG-23), after a long night of consuming some tasty drinks. Heal up and stay safe ship mate.

Get well soon! Ships are inherently dangerous, I never got on a carrier but I spent a couple years on the Battleship Wisconsin BB-64 and a couple on the Gettysburg CG-64.
I had a Chief break both of his thumbs and had to have wrist casts on them for a month. He was sliding down the hand rails

Anyways be safe!
