Re: 3 on the tree shifter rods & z-bar frame bracket f/s
is this the z-bar for the clutch or did the shift linkage have a z-bar, or bell-crank, or whatever you want to call it?

Re: 3 on the tree shifter rods & z-bar frame bracket f/s
I need everything from the tranny to the collum, including the lever inside the truck. I want to go from an aftermarket floor shifter back to the stock setup that the PO ripped out.

Re: 3 on the tree shifter rods & z-bar frame bracket f/s
i think my colum is o.k., not sure how to tell. the spring has some tension and the bushing for the shifter dosen't look too worn.

Re: 3 on the tree shifter rods & z-bar frame bracket f/s
my truck has a 327 v-8, are they different because on a v-8 the rod would need to clear the valve cover or exaust or something. I think the bell housings were the same.

Re: 3 on the tree shifter rods & z-bar frame bracket f/s
I have a 67 6 cyl with a 3 spd nonsynchro first gear. It has the small side cover.
I have replaced it with a 3 spd synchro first gear. It has the big side cover. Actually it is a 3spd OD, but that does not matter for this. My issue is, do you know if the shift linkage from the column to the shifter shaft link is the same? The shifter shaft link is different, the nonsynchro has a much longer shaft than the synchro, so I now need the synchro's shift linkage. I am looking for inlightenment. Pictures are available if you need them. Thanks, Massingill

Re: 3 on the tree shifter rods & z-bar frame bracket f/s
I'm interested if they are still for sale..... I just need to confirm the difference between 6 cylinder and V8's. I have a set and they are about 2 inches short of the the steering shaft. I'll post pics and dimensions tomorrow!
